Hypomyces—possibly H. hyalinu
As above
Taken in North Judsen, Indiana, while on a camping trip. Thanks for sharing Linda Hemphill
What you seem to have is a species of Hypomyces—possibly H. hyalinus. This species is a parasitic “mold” which attacks A. rubescens, which is poisonous. This species of “Lobster” mushroom may be poisonous due to its host. Other Lobster mushrooms (displayed on the edible fungus pages) are red, feeding on Lactarious or Russsulas, and are commonly eaten and are sold in grocery stores.

Death Cap (Amanita phalloides) or Destroying Angel or Death Angel (Amanita ocreata)
Deadly poisonous! Beauty is deceiving. The beautiful skirtlike ring is not always this well defined. Even worms and bugs keep their distance from this angel-of-death.
Thanks to Allen Clouse for this nice picture.
There is some question as to the identity of this mushroom. Please share your opinion.
