Comfrey (Symphytum officinale)

Poultice and tea of leaves and roots used to heal wounds and broken bones. Somewhat carcinogenic--especially the roots and its use is banned in Canada. Leaf tea said to be less carcinogenic than a can of beer.

Be careful not to confuse with Foxglove, which is fatally toxic.
