Godfroid II was the eldest of 15 kids, including one twin.

"This afternoon Monique and I had the pleasure of a brief visit with Tante Leonie and Uncle Jules. They are both well and waiting for the cool weather to go away so they can get back to gardening. As you can imagine, much of our discussion was about Linda and the wonderful photos that she is sharing with us. Aunt Leonie thinks that you have the best collection of photos in the Nadeau family, Linda!
As we talked about the pictures and other old family stories, Leonie told me that her brother, Aimee died as a result of receiving too much anesthesia (chloroform) as he was being prepared for having his toncils removed! Interestingly, the doctor treating him was the same one who was caring for Salomee at the time of her death.
Leonie also told us of the circumstances of Elizabeth's death. After visiting with their children/grandchildren in Stratton, Charley and Elizabeth drove to Charny, a village to the south of Quebec, just across the St Lawrence. They were visiting with Jules and Leonie, who had an apartment in that town. They had been there for about two weeks, when Elizabeth left the living room to go wash her false teeth in the kitchen sink. Leonie noticed that something was wrong with Elizabeth's posture and asked Jules to see what was going on. Upon reaching her, she collapsed in his arms, and Jules carried her to her bed. Jules says that she rested peacefully for a few moments after which she opened her eyes and briefly looked at the crucifix of the wall. At that moment, she smiled and gently passed away....at the tender age of 92 years and 11 months!" Quoted from Felix on MyFamily.com site
